My name is Andy Boslett and I completed my PhD in environmental and natural resource economics at the University of Rhode Island in 2016. I am now a research associate at the University of Rochester in Elaine Hill's lab and an economist/data scientist at the Rochester Data Science Consortium.

My fields of interest are applied microeconomics, energy economics, environmental economics, and health economics. My dissertation focused on the economic and environmental impacts of unconventional oil and gas development from the perspective of housing markets. You can read more about my projects on the Research page of my site.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling by bicycle, trying new foods, and hanging out with my wife, daughter, and cats. I am learning how to play the guitar and would appreciate any tips. After years of doling out unwanted advice, I'm also learning photography.

Please reach out if you're interested in learning about my research in progress!
